This halter is made with soft or firm 1/4" polyester double braid rope. Includes under the chin Indian hackamore style rein hooks. The standard halter has a plain noseband but is also available with 4 knots and/or braiding for an additional chargeis a 2 knot halter or for and additional charge 4 knots for additional cost. Phenomenal ! Indian Hackamore
I got a new horse in January, and I was told to use a snaffle bit with her. But I could tell it wasn’t working — she was getting frustrated, didn’t turn well, wouldn’t stop reliably, and wouldn’t stay stopped. I had purchased a rope hackamore from this company for an older horse before and had amazing results, so I decided to try their Indian Hackamore. Honestly, I was skeptical — it looked a bit odd, kind of like a halter, and I wondered how I could possibly have more control with something that seemed to offer less. I received it last week and have now ridden my horse four times with it. By the fourth ride, the difference was unbelievable: she turned on a dime, stopped immediately and stayed stopped, and was calm and easy when putting on the headstall. She no longer fought me or tossed her head, and she seemed so much happier. I was so confident in her new behavior that I even let my 7-year-old ride her — something I never would have considered before. I’m absolutely amazed at the complete transformation. If you’re hesitant or worried you’ll lose control without a bit, don’t doubt yourself. This hackamore has made my once headstrong, hard-to-control horse completely responsive and manageable. Very happy with how my Hackamore and reins turned out. Color is exactly what I wanted and it fits my QH perfectly! Very comfortable feel and seems like great quality so far!
